How-to set a flight and crew to Emergency Lock State

This article will provide you with the steps to hide a flight and assigned Crew Members from certain user groups.

Instructions

Steps:

1. Create a Project and set name and shortcode: Example: Name; “Emergency Lock”, Shortcode: “LOCK”

2. Create a Leg Filter with these parameters: ProjectShortCodes (StringArray) != .*LOCK

3. Create a Special Role and set name and shortcode: Example: Name; “Emergency Lock”, Shortcode: “LOCK”

4. Create a HR Filter with these parameters: SpecialRoleShortCodes (StringArray) != .*LOCK

5. For the user group(s) you want to exclude from viewing Locked flights and crew, select the filters in the user group configuration. Recommended functions to assign filter to are: Schedules, CrewGantt, StationOperations and potentially reports.
