Logout option removed from RAIDO Earth.

Description

Release notes

There are problems with freeing up system memory when users log out from Earth. Correcting it is complicated and timeconsuming, besides a logout feature is not a must. Closing the application and opening it again serves the same purpose but without the memory issues.

Instead of a Logout button there is now a Quit button instead which closes the application, similarly the Alt + Q shortcut is now used to close the application. When there is a global logout request from the server (e.g. for system upgrades) the application shows the same message to the user as previously but closes the application instead of logging out the user.

Bug

Change to integration with Trax M&E.

Description

Release notes

Currently the cycle is always set to 1 when the aircraft of off block, however this causes Trax to count a 'Gate Return' as one cycle. It should be changed so the cycle only counts if the aircraft has an actual take of time registered. Note: Crew legality could possible need to count this differently. So the change should not change that.

Cycle count is now set to 0 when there are no actual take off or actual touch down times.

Schedule Export - Add IATA-code and correct sorting in SSIM-file

Description

Release notes

1. When we export a SSIM-file from RAIDO Earth we are missing the IATA airline prefix code that's needed on line 6 directly after 2U. Please see differences in attached files.
The same airline code that is used in the flight numbers should be on line 6 directly after 2U.

2. When we export a SSIM-file with multiple prefixes the file should be sorted with each prefix by it's own and then with repeated header.

3. When selecting a period on page 1 in SSIM Export it's not reflected on page 2. It takes all schedules that's within the selected period but it should only export the selected dates.

Please see Cloud code as these issues are working in Cloud but not in Earth.

BaseLocalTime is needed on pairings for correct legality checks

Description

Release notes

When CPO creates AvxRosterBlock from AvxOptPairing the local time of the base is not set. We need such information for correct legality checks. According to the investigation Gustav and Alex had one could:
- use AvxDataHolder.SetReferences(rosterBlock) to set the local time of the base on the pairing before checking legalities and before sending to gantt.
- as SetReferences accepts both rosterBlock and rosterBlockList check if it is significantly faster to set one pairing at a time or all at once.
- create a method to transfer AvxOptPairing to AvxRosterBlock and place SetReference in there.

Crew pairing optimization was missing base local time when calling legalities which led to some incorrect rule checks and this story fixed base local time on pairings coming from CPO.

Add UniqueId for SetFlightData in RaidoAPI

Description

Release notes

To define a flight in SetFlightData currently we use a combination of (FlightNumber or Callsign) and DepartureStation and ArrivalStation and FlightDate.
To avoid confusion, as an extension to the existing method, UniqueId defining a specified Leg shall be introduced.

Now you can specify UniqueId for a flight. UniqueId is obtainable through the function GetFlights, and is the id column for the flight in the db table. If you use UniqueId to identify a flight, you don't need to specify From, To, FlightNumber, Callsign, Dep or Arr, since these are only for filtering out the correct activity.

APIS Conversion dialogue window enhancements

Description

Release notes

Open Apis conversion ( if it is not enabled > UserGroups > Administrators > SYSM_System > Apis Conversion > enable > relogin)
1. Type of replace StringRaplace
In this case, we should (and we have) String to replace and Replacement string

2. Type of replace Regex
In this case, we should have Regex instead of String to replace (not sure what works better in this case)

3. Type of replace CharactersToKeep
In this case, we should have characters to keep and characters to disappear (if the sounds fine) instead of String to replace

Now the labels change depending on what "type of replace" you have selected. It is changed how "characters to keep" works. If you select it, the right most textbox is disabled, and what you enter in the left one functions as a "mask".

For example, if you select "Characters to keep" and enter "abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz" (the whole english alphabet), the name Mjöberg will be converted to Mjberg, because 'ö' is not one of the characters to keep.

O'Neil would be ONeil.

If you would enter "abcdefgh" then "Mjöberg" would be "beg" and "O'Neil" would be "e".

ASM - deleted leg info 998/999

Description

Release notes

In the description, the multileg demands per leg are listed (as Sabre works now). Sofar we tried to do it without that and use QQQQQQ lines only. That works in most cases. Only when legs are removed and not replaced by another leg, it does not work.

To solve that, we need to know which legs are taken out of a multileg flight.
So if the route is AAA - BBB- CCC- DDD - EEE for roundrip MP0XXX0 DDMMMYY and CCC is taken out, we need to get two messages per deleted leg:
For BBB to CCC:
BBBCCC 998/NIL
BBBCCC 999/MP0XXX0 DDMMMYY
and for CCC to DDD
CCCDDD 998/NIL
CCCDDD 999/MP0XXX0 DDMMMYY

Roundtrip number in ASM/SSM messages

Description

Release notes

The logic is that when a roundtrip number (project is added) then the field 998: should be added to a message. When a rountrip number (project is removed) then the field 999 should the added to a message.

This needs to be controlled by a setup setting where the 998/999 fields should be turned on/off.

998: QQQQQQ 998/NIL, which means “the flight is in the roundtrip” NIL, so NOT in a roundtrip

and

999: QQQQQQ 999/07SEP17 MP07120 which means “The flight is out the roundtrip” 07SEP17 MP07120

The rountrip number is on a leg by leg basis so if a flight contains multiple legs, the message should look like this:

Scenario #3 - Crew member Callout, Pick up Original Trip

Description

Crew Member Calls out, then same day or next day contacts Scheduling Department to pick up remainder of original pairing.
1. Need to be able to locate crew member’s original pairing (either from Award, SAP, or Daily Fire Request).
a. See history of crew member’s schedule to determine what their flying was and what the footprint was. *Pilot footprint is whole pairing start to finish / FA footprint is daily
b. Locate what crew member is currently assigned to the trip. *May be on multiple persons.
c. Drop pairing from currently assigned crew. If reserve pilot, add FDP to finish pairing, or place back on appropriate reserve shift (RSVA, RSVP, RSVS, SCR, or LCR). If reserve FA, add appropriate reserve shift (RSVAF, RSVPF, RSVSF, RES, or RDY) to finish pairing.
2. Rebuild pairing to being on new date/time that crew member will be resuming pairing.
3. Remove Reference activity defined as an “Absence” from where crew member will resume trip.
4. Add newly built pairing from Step 2 to crew member who is resuming the trip.

Building New Pairing- Incorrect Base association

Description

Release notes

When using the "New" build feature, the incorrect base is chosen by the application depending on what order you click on the flight segments.

Expected behavior is it shouldn't matter which segment is chosen 1st if there is a start and end in the same domicile (Base) that should define where the pairing is built out of.

The example in the video is IAH-DFW-DFW-IAH, should be an IAH E75 Pairing for 1-FA because that is what was open in the open segments.

Base is now picked in a correct way

Description

Release notes

There is a timezone probablem between the "Edit" function (UOC feature) and the "Info" function. This example the start time destination (DTW) and the end time destination (IAD) are in the same time zone, so both locations reflection of "Local" time should be the same.

Unable to save with a transaction code after BRQ end date

Description

Release notes

When a crew member resign in the middle of a month you set the BRQ to an end date.
image-2019-01-24-15-11-41-759.png

When you have ended a crew members employment you need to remove all assigned activities after the resign date.
Problem here is that you are not able to set a Transaction Code when you save.
One of the TC used is RSN (Resignation) .
Problem is that once the BRQ has been set you can´t change the transaction code on saving.
I put in a filter to cover both Active and not active crew on RSN transaction code. Still doesn´t work to put the transaction code on the deleted flights when saving

image-2019-01-24-15-27-56-676.png
image-2019-01-24-15-28-09-909.png

This is important for the Payroll calculation. The crew´s Line Guarantee needs to be reduced with the delete flights and the reduction is triggered by the Transaction Code

Added the same message box functionality that already exists in Cloud to Earth when you deactivate a HR or set BRQ date. Set BRQ end date now informs you what it is changing and reminding you to deal with the remaining activities that exists on the HR.

Story

ACARS Fuel units in in OOOI message

Description

Release notes

RAIDO is currently configured to receive fuel figures in hundreds of a given unit. Acars at Viva is set to send this information in tenths. This difference leads to today in having fuel figures being stored in the DB which are 10 times larger than they should. We need a setting where the default behavior can be changed.

In ACARSFuelUnit setup there is an additional entry where you can define unit of ACARS fuel.
